Soft tissue

Tecar Therapy

Radiofrequency energy therapy for back, neck, shoulder, hip and knee pain, sports injuries, muscle strains, tendonitis, joint pain, soft tissue injuries and post surgical recovery.

Chapter 01

Warming tissue from the inside out

Tecar uses radiofrequency energy to generate heat inside the tissue itself rather than applying it to the surface. A hot pack warms the skin and hopes some of it travels; this does not have that problem.

Warmth reaching the actual depth of the injury is what makes tissue more willing to move and lets circulation pick up where it had slowed.

Strains, tendonitis and post surgical stiffness

It is used here for back, neck, shoulder, hip and knee pain, sports injuries, muscle strains, tendonitis, joint pain and soft tissue injuries.

Post surgical recovery is a common one. Tissue that has been still for weeks is stiff and poorly supplied, and warming it properly before rehab makes the rehab far less miserable.

Chapter 03

Where Tecar sits next to laser and cupping

These three overlap, and which one you get is a judgement about the tissue in front of us rather than a menu choice. Laser is aimed at inflammation, cupping at tension and circulation near the surface, Tecar at depth and tissue temperature.

Often they combine. Having all three in one building is the reason the plan can change in the same week your back does.

One of eight therapies run from the same treatment floor.
