The chamber

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy

Pressurised chamber oxygen therapy used for sports injury recovery, muscle strains, chronic pain and inflammation, joint discomfort and arthritis, concussion and mild TBI, neuropathy, post surgical recovery, fatigue, wound healing and general wellness.

Chapter 01

What the chamber is doing to tissue

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy works by raising the pressure around you so that more oxygen dissolves into the blood and reaches tissue that is not getting enough of it. Injured and inflamed tissue is frequently oxygen starved, which is one of the reasons some recoveries stall.

It is a systemic treatment rather than a local one. That is why the list it gets used for is broad, and why it sits alongside the hands on work here rather than competing with it.

The recoveries we use it for most

Patients here book the chamber for sports injury recovery, muscle strains, chronic pain and inflammation, joint discomfort and arthritis, concussion and mild traumatic brain injury, neuropathy, post surgical recovery, fatigue and wound healing.

Concussion and neuropathy patients tend to find their own way to it, because those are exactly the cases where an adjustment alone was never going to be the answer and where recovery time is the whole problem.

Chapter 03

Booking round a pressurised session

The chamber is a booked session, not something added onto a walk in adjustment, because pressurising and depressurising takes real time at both ends. Call the front desk on the practice number and it will be scheduled properly.

If you are combining it with adjusting or rehab in the same week, say so when you book. The office will sequence the appointments rather than leave you to guess the order.

The chamber is on site, in the same building as the treatment floor.
